The Sheridan County YMCA has been serving the Sheridan community and region since 1959. With a commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. The Y has the longstanding relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change. Though the world may be unpredictable, one thing remains certain – the Y is, and always will be, dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities.

Sex Offenders:
We consider it of great importance to provide a safe and threat-free environment. For this reason, the Sheridan County YMCA monitors the sexual offender registry. Persons on the list will not be eligible for a Y membership, program participation, volunteer, or employment opportunities. Individuals who are found ineligible will receive written notification of their status.
