Grades: K–8 (programs offered in Fall & Winter)
Basketball at the Y builds skills, confidence, and teamwork in a positive and supportive environment. Players learn fundamentals, practice good sportsmanship, and have fun competing with friends.
Program Options
Fall Basketball (Grades 2–3, Boys & Girls)
- Practices/Games:
- Boys: Mon & Wed
- Girls: Tues & Thurs
- Practices and games are scheduled at 5 or 6 pm
- No cap on participants
- Cost:

Rimbusters (Grades K–1) *coordinated with Sheridan Recreation District
- Instructional program focused on fundamentals and fun
- Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri at YMCA gyms
- Sheridan, Big Horn, and Tongue River locations offered
- Enrollment capped per session (about 45 players)
- Cost: $40
Itty Bitty Basketball (Ages 4–5, not yet in Kindergarten)
- Introductory program teaching basics in a fun setting
- Practices: Tues & Thurs (short sessions, afternoon & evening options)
- Cost: $35 (members) / $45 (non-members)

Rimbusters 2026 (Grades K–1):

Itty Bitty Basketball 2026 (Ages 4–5):
