*Rimbusters (2024):
Rimbusters is an introductory basketball program available to all Kindergarten and first graders that is brought to you by the Sheridan YMCA and Sheridan Recreation District.  Players will learn the fundamentals of passing, dribbling, shooting, sportsmanship, and teamwork!

• Registration:  November 13 – December 29, 2023
• Ages:  Children attending Kindergarten and First Grade
• Program Dates:  January 5th – February 23, 2024
• Days & Times:  4 Sessions available (maximum 45 players in each session):
  • Sheridan Players: 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays (held at the Sheridan YMCA from January 8 – January 31, 2024)
  • Sheridan Players: 4:15 – 5:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays (held at the Sheridan YMCA from January 8 – January 31, 2024)
  • Tongue River Players: 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. Fridays (held at the TRVCC-Ranchester from January 5 – February 23, 2024)
  • Big Horn Players: 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. Fridays (held at the Sheridan YMCA from January 5- February 23, 2024)
• Fees & Scholarships:  $35 per player, Financial assistance applications available at the front desk.

*Itty Bitty Basketball (2024):
Itty Bitty Basketball focuses on developing large motor skills in our young players.  In a positive atmosphere, the youth will get plenty of hands-on experience including handling of the ball, dribbling, passing, and shooting the ball!  This is a fun, learning environment and parent participation is greatly encouraged.

• Registration:  December 1st – January 8th 
• Ages: 4-5 (not attending Kindergarten)
• Program Dates:  January 9 – February 1, 2024
• Days & Times:  2 Sessions available (maximum 25 players in each session):
  • 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday
  • 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday
• Fees & Scholarships:  $25 Member/$35 Non-Member, Financial assistance applications available at the front desk.

*Spring/Fall Soccer (2024):
The world’s largest sport is at the Y and ready for the fun!  Our soccer program will include kids playing as a team, passing back and forth, and assisting while someone takes the big shot and scores!  That’s soccer at the Y!

• Days and Times:  Mondays and Wednesdays between 4:00 -7:00 p.m.
• Ages: Players attending Kindergarten through 8th grade
• Locations:  Blacktooth Park and Y Fields (with the possibility of Elementary Schools)
• Additional Information:
  • Shin guards required
  • All teams are Co-ed
  • Grades and and up play with a goalkeeper
  • Grades K-8 play 2 days per week
• Cost:
  • New jersey needed:
    • $50 member rate/$60 non-member rate
  • Have jersey from previous season:
    • $40 member rate/$50 non-member rate
• Spring Soccer:
  • Registration:  February 12 – March 20, 2024
    o Season Dates: April 8 – May 15, 2024

*Itty Bitty T-Ball (2024):
Young children will learn fundamental skills, rules, and how to interact socially with others in this sport.  Every inning, each player bats and plays in the field. Sitting on the bench is one position that no one plays in YMCA T-Ball!

• Registration: March 25 – May 3, 2024
• Ages: 4-5 (not attending Kindergarten)
• Program Dates: May 14 – June 6, 2024
• Days & Times:
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5:00 and 7:00 pm
• Fees:  $30 Member/$40 Non-Member. Financial assistance applications available at the front desk.

*Itty Bitty Soccer (2024):
Kids will learn techniques that will grow their knowledge of soccer and begin to develop a few skills for the sport. Coaches will conduct fun practices with skill-based games throughout the duration of the season.

*Youth Basketball Grades 2/3 (2024):
This comprehensive basketball program teaches kids about the fundamentals of the game while they have fun, learn teamwork, and experience a positive atmosphere. FYI: Grades 4/5 are run through the Sheridan Recreation District.

• Program Dates: October 21 – December 6, 2024

  • Boys:  Mondays and Wednesdays between 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
  • Girls: Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
