ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS
Programs designed to keep seniors active, healthy, and socially connected. All classes welcome adults and youth 16+.
Participation Notes:
- Some classes, like Enhance®Fitness and FitLyfe, require registration paperwork before the first class.
- These programs are offered in 6–16 week sessions at no additional fee for YMCA Members and Community Members.

Active Older Adult Cardio & Strength
Intensity: Low–Moderate
A safe and energizing workout using circuit machines and floor movement to build strength and endurance.
Cardio Mix & Strength
Intensity: Moderate
A varied cross-training class combining cardio and strength. Builds confidence while introducing members to different fitness styles at the Y.
Core, Stretch & Balance
Intensity: Low–Moderate
Traditional core exercises with stretching techniques to improve flexibility, posture, and overall balance.
Enhance®Fitness
Intensity: Low
An evidence-based class for older adults, including those managing chronic conditions like arthritis. Focuses on strength, balance, flexibility, and social connection. Chairs available for support. *Requires registration paperwork before the first class.
Intensity: Moderate
Learn safe lifting techniques and gain confidence with guided, small-group workouts.
Yoga
Intensity: Low–Moderate
Improve flexibility, strength, and mindfulness through guided yoga poses, breathing, and movement.

CARDIO
We support individuals, families and the community for healthy living by promoting well-being, reducing risk of developing chronic disease and assisting people to reclaim their health through dedicated trained staff and intentionally designed programs in a safe environment engineered for personal success. Programs designed to improve endurance, strength, and overall health while reducing chronic disease risk. All classes are led by trained YMCA instructors in a safe, supportive environment.

Cycling
Intensity: Moderate–High
Indoor cycling designed to challenge endurance and strength. Ride through varied terrains from flat roads to steep climbs.
Faithful Fitness
Intensity: Low–Moderate
A unique 45-minute class combining cardio, strength, and devotional time. Includes kickboxing, choreographed cardio, and dumbbell training in an uplifting, faith-based atmosphere.
Hustle the Muscle
Intensity: Moderate–High
A general strength and cardio conditioning class. Improves overall fitness, cardiovascular health, and muscular endurance.
Power Pedal
Intensity: Moderate–High
A 30-minute indoor cycling class designed to test endurance and build stamina. Quick, powerful, and energizing.
Strong & Active.
Intensity: Moderate-High
A class blending aerobic step routine with strength training using dumbbells, barbells and body weight. This combination will sculpt muscles and boost your metabolism.
Zumba
Intensity: Low–Moderate
A Latin-inspired cardio workout with easy-to-follow dance moves. Combines aerobic intervals, fat-burning, and full-body toning in a fun, high-energy environment.

Build strength with precision. This class uses the barbell, plates and body weight to master fundamental patterns. The emphasis is on strong technique and a controlled tempo. Driven by dynamic music to elevate your strength and hit new performance milestones.
Circuits for Strength
A motivating circuit training class that combines resistance exercises, functional movements and bodyweight work to improve overall muscular strength.
FitLyfe
Intensity: Low–Moderate
Not sure where to start? FitLyfe is a free six-week program that combines fitness and education to help you build healthy habits. Explore different wellness topics, try a variety of activities, and gain the confidence to make fitness part of your routine. After six weeks, you can continue your journey as a YMCA member for as long as you need.

Body Fusion
Intensity: Low-Moderate
An invigorating 45 minute mind and body workout. Incorporating yoga and pilates movements that focus on balance, mobility, flexibility and a strong core.
Core, Stretch & Balance
Intensity: Low–Moderate
Combines traditional abdominal exercises with stretching to improve posture, core stability, flexibility, and balance.
Pilates
Intensity: Medium-High
Build core strength, improve flexibility, and develop better balance and body awareness through controlled, low-impact movements. Suitable for a variety of fitness levels.
Sunrise & Evening Yoga
Intensity: Low–Moderate
Guided yoga classes that focus on alignment, breathing techniques, flexibility, and strength to support both body and mind.
Ages: 6–Adult
More than self-defense—this program builds confidence, character, and discipline while teaching martial arts skills. Monthly registration required.
